Bernard R. Adams, CFP® is an expert in registered investment advisors as well as financial services providers and investment management firms. Barney was co-founder of the ARX Funds and was, at various times, the Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Manager. Previously, Mr. Adams was Vice President of Tanager Financial Services Inc., a family-office financial advisory firm where he was Chief Operating Officer, head of a client service team, and responsible for more than 750 million dollars in investments and several executive households. Prior to his tenure with Tanager, Mr. Adams founded and served for 15 years as President of Legal Support Services, Inc., and provided consulting and technology services for law firms and other service businesses. Barney has taught law at Boston University School of Law and at the University of Virginia, School of Law, among other institutions. Mr. Adams received an LL.B. from Yale Law School in 1969 and an A.B., cum laude and with honors, from Brown University in 1966. Barney is a member of the Bar in New York and Massachusetts, the Order of the Coif and a Certified Financial Planner.
